Our best costume award for 2006I made this using some left over pieces of foam board. The gate is made of two small pieces of wood and small pieces of a coat hanger. It stands about 10" tall. For the lettering and numbers, I used some self sticking ones i found at Michael's. Then I sprayed some poly on them to seal them in. The small skulls on the ground are from a push pin set. I used those to make some plaster copies with a flat back to mount on the columns.Vikeman

Electric chair (day)The prisoner was wired to shake whenever I pushed the button on my remote control. The columns were something new this year. At night, the skulls glow white and the eyes glow red.Slacks

EntranceWe designed our entrance columns from 6 inch PVC pipe and plywood. We cut out CEMETERY and lit it from inside. Plywood is texturized using sand in the latex paint for a stone like texture. Over 10 ft. tall.costumes5by5
