Pnuematic chair 3This is my work so far in the seated postion. The pnuematic cylinder is complet. I attached the valve with a large amount of epoxy on both sides but pust duck tape there just for added security.crazymjb

Skeleton Raising MechanismHere's the mechanism that I made to raise the skeleton from the coffin. The bottom of the air cylinder was later attached to the coffin bottom with two "L" brackets. U-clamps were clamped around the internal steel spine. I had to cut out some of the bone around the attachment areas to make room for clamping.skidude

Coffin control boxA hand built basic stamp board with sound chip controlled the events. Two 110V MAC air valves provided the air control. Components triggered were internal light, fogger, door lift air cylinder, skeleton lifter air cylinder, and the sound through an onboard 60 second chip. A 4 channel keychain style remote control triggered the three different events. skidude

Automated coffin with full size skeletonScream, coffin lights up from within, fog begins flowing from cracks in the wooden coffin... an organ begins playing as the door slowly raises and the skeleton sits up. Remote control activated and powered by a basic stamp and air cylinders, this was a real crowd pleaser. Additional functionality to come for 2005. Idea from Scary Terry's kitchen sink coffin.skidude
